Energy Monitoring System
An intelligent energy management system, is designed to reduce energy consumption, improve the utilization of the system, increase reliability, predict electrical system performance, generate records & optimize energy usage to reduce the cost. Greenergy fully complies with the main objective of ISO 50001 standard to continuously improve energy consumption performance and to identify energy reduction opportunities.
NETWORKING ARCHITECTURE
- Looping of meters with ‘Daisy-chain Topology’ for communication channel for all energy meters with RS 485 port at respective locations is already exist.
- As Energy Meters work on ‘RS-485’ communication; to use the existing network, we will incorporate ‘RS-485 to Ethernet Data Converters’ by cable supply from panel to converter.
- One end of ‘RS-485 to Ethernet Data Converter’ will be connected to LAN port and the other end will be connected to the Energy Meters from various plant locations
- The LAN port will be connected to Central Server at the plant level
- Above set up will establish a communication channel for all Energy Meters in the plant by bringing those in the existing LAN network
- The central server will be responsible for communicating with all Energy Meters of the plant
- At a predefined interval; the Central Server will start a polling cycle to get the Real-Time data from all the connected Energy Meters
- This interval will be configurable on the Central Server as per Customer’s Requirement
- The Computer will verify the collected data and will store all the data for future
